Yoglow: Find a friend and do yoga together

How can I help people who are doing yoga find each other in their neighborhood?
Statement
“YoGlow” application will let users “find other friends who likes yoga”, which will affect “the application user” by “helping them make friends , find good location to do yoga and share their well-being experience”. we will measure effectiveness by the user feedback on the application and the number of user who use the application.
In this personal project, my goal was to learn Figma by creating a new design from scratch. I decided to focus on a solution for people who are into yoga and want to make friends. I designed an application to support this idea. I started with in-depth research on yoga itself, its core values, what it means to practitioners, and why people are drawn to it. Then, I expanded my research by conducting a survey to better understand the target audience. While benchmarking similar products through competitive audits, I began mapping out the user journey. I sketched initial ideas on paper and gradually brought them to life in Figma. After building the first wireframe, I tested it with a few users to gather feedback on usability. Based on their input, I made several iterations and finalized the mockup, applying key UI principles throughout the process.
The design decisions were based on insights gathered from online research, survey responses, benchmarking, and user testing feedback. The final design is intentionally minimalistic, with a clean and calming aesthetic. A simple color palette, featuring green, cream, and mostly white, was chosen to reflect the values of yoga lovers, who often seek a connection with nature and appreciate simplicity in both form and experience.
